Yep, that' right! One week from today, we will be in Dubai. That just seems crazy to me. We are not the globe trotting kind of family. The farthest I have been is the Bahamas and the farthest Sabrina has been is Hawaii! We've never even been anywhere where we needed a passport, and now we are headed for Dubai and Africa?????? Wow, only with God's leading! We are busy preparing and packing for our trip. We leave on Thurs, April 9th, spending the first 2 nights in Dubai, then leaving Easter Sunday morning to fly to Ethiopia. We will meet Teg for the first time on Monday afternoon, and officially take him on Tues. I just can't believe that after 2 long years, it has now come down to a matter of days! The Lord has been so good to us and we are so blessed to be making this trip and to be bringing Teg into our family. Please pray for us, it is a long journey ( from start to finish we will have logged about 43 hours in a plane!), and there will be lots of adjustments to make. We know that this is the path that the Lord has laid out for us and we are beyond thrilled to taking this next giant step!

Hey guys! So glad I found you again. :) we're from the YG and live in Palmdale. We made this connection months ago, but lost track of you in the craziness of court closure & traveling & being home with a new baby. Sorry about that! Anyway...I just found you & your blog this morning...wow!!! You travel tomorrow!!!! Yeah!!!! So happy for you guys!!! :) I'm not able to see the video/pics of Lucas on my ipod but I can't wait to see him when I turn the computer on later.
We've been home 5 months now with Ezana & are loving it! If there's anything we can do please don't hesitate to let us know. You have our prayers for sure. :) maybe once you're back & settled we can plan a get together...if you want. :)

How old is he? Where are you guys staying in Addis? I know! YOu don't have time to answer questions(haha), though I would love to ask so many. :)
