Another day...another blog

Ok, it's day two of my attempt at blogging and already, I'm out of words! Some good news, some families from our agency got their travel packets today and are starting to pack for their trip to Ethiopia. Can't wait til that's us! Well...I can wait for that plane trip! I'm not a great flier, and a 20 hour flight to Africa just isn't that appealing to me. Ambien, here I come!!!! Also, the agency said that some new referrals might go out next week. It won't be us, there are too many peole in front of us, but it will move us closer up. The courts in Ethiopia are closed until mid Oct., so that slows things down a bit. Don't ask me why a country closes down their entire court system for 2 whole months, that's just the way they roll there I guess. Referrals still go out during the closure, but no one can travel during that time, and nothing gets processed, so when they reopen, they will be backed up. So, as always, just keep praying~we'll go when God wants us to, not a day before, not a day after! There is peace in knowing that!
